You will:

  • Understand the job requirements and performance expectations for each position staffed or supervised by Talentcor and communicates this information to all members of Talentcor’s support team.
  • Keep an active pool of qualified candidates and continue to grow the pool using a variety of sourcing avenues.
  • Conduct on boarding orientations for all new employees including; complete client packages, punch clock training, issuing swipe cards, lockers and photo badges, process criminal checks, administer GMP and Health & Safety testing
  • Set up and manage time and attendance.
  • Assist in the payroll, E-time and invoicing processes and assume ownership for client satisfaction.
  • Manage the activities and performance of Talentcor associates working at the client location including performance reviews, verbal and written warnings, sick/vacation policy.
  • Consult with the client to identify, develop and implement improvements to Talentcor’s existing staffing services/solutions as well as new “value-added” services/solutions.
  • Develop, coach, support, and counsel employees in partnership with the client’s management team. 
  • Meet with the client’s management and key customers to ensure all needs, expectations and performance objectives are being met in a timely, proactive manner. 
  • Receive and manage the fulfillment of the client’s staffing requirements.
  • Implement and utilize exit interviews, climate surveys, focus groups, etc. to ensure understanding and responsiveness to the employees’ needs/concerns and communicates findings to the client and the Talentcor support team.
  • Prepare and conduct Partnership reviews with the client’s management and key customers concerning the quality and proactively develop short and long-term action plans designed to increase service levels.
  • Manage comprehensive Health and Safety initiatives and programs by leading quarterly safety talks, attending client health and safety meetings, conducting PPE spot checks a d facilitating WHMIS training. 
  • Partner with afterhours service representative to manage standby lists.

You have:

  • 3 – 5 years of customer service industry experience required.
  • 1 – 3 years staffing/temporary service experience or client industry related experience required.
  • 1 – 3 years supervisory experience
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills

Inteqna Markham is growing and is excited to be adding a Technical Recruiter to the team. This position is responsible and accountable for identifying and representing qualified candidates to meet our client’s staffing needs. Interactions with candidates should result in a “preferred agency”  experience.  The quality of placements should result in a "preferred partner"  outcome for clients.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Approach all tasks, activities and interactions with the goal of making Inteqna a complete sales organization.
  • Understand all job roles within your market sector(s), specifically Information Technology
  • Source, identify, pre-screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to understand their career objectives.
  • Build and maintain a pre-qualified pool of candidates in all job roles and levels within your market sector(s).
  • Review job descriptions to understand the needs of hiring manager/client, and understand questions required to identify the right candidate match.
  • Search, select and refer qualified candidates for client requirements.
  • Ensure assigned job orders are actively worked with a sense of urgency, in accordance with the Account Manager’s and client’s direction and feedback.
  • Develop and execute recruiter strategies to meet and/or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and production targets established in the Personal Contribution Plan (PCP)/Deskplan.
  • Follow-up with candidates to build credibility, develop long-term relationships and trust, and receive referrals.
  • Gather market intelligence on the target market sectors for the Branch through recruiting activity and networking.
  • Identify business development and new client opportunities, and inform Branch Manager.
  • Own and proactively resolve contractor/candidate issues and concerns immediately.
  • Maintain accurate records in the company database.
  • Participate as an effective team member to strengthen the competencies of the organization.
  • Take personal responsibility and accountability for participation in skills training and development.
  • Participate and take personal ownership in the annual preparation and ongoing review/execution of PCP/ Deskplan.
  • Identify and refer potential candidates for internal positions.

Competencies and Behaviours:

  • 3+ years of IT Recruitment experience placing contract and permanent positions
  • Self-driven and action oriented: effectively organize and prioritize tasks and see them to completion to meet schedules and reach goals.
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • Has the ability to read clients and candidates and adjust their approach to deliver focused customer service and to negotiate using technical and persuasive methods.
  • Action-oriented with a high degree of urgency applied to revenue driving activities.
  • Explore and apply innovative, faster, or better approaches to recruitment and work activities to create new opportunities and efficiencies.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Be a business professional who follows standards, policies and practices, and who can improvise work styles as required.

Recruitment Manager – LucasWorks (Talentcor) – Windsor, ON

You will be responsible and accountable for the recruitment function of the Branch.  You will drive business development and candidate growth while maintaining industry leadership in customer and candidate satisfaction across the Temporary and Permanent Placement service offerings.   This position is further responsible and accountable for training and development of all direct and indirect reports within the recruitment function.

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, written communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Established in the business community, with experience in both temporary and permanent recruitment.  Experience with managing accounts and gaining new business with your sales ability.
  • Excellent understanding of the market sectors and the sales potential within the Practice’s region
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational and people management skills and experiences
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience running a successful 360 recruiting desk in automotive manufacturing or production
  • Strong desire to achieve results including KPI and Financial results
  • Experience hiring and training sourcing specialists
  • Financial acumen
  • Post-secondary education an asset
